Understanding Your Event Espresso Account

Welcome to Event Espresso! This article walks you through your Event Espresso account dashboard, where you can:



Use the menu to access each section directly. Screenshots below show what each area looks like.


We’d like to take a moment to introduce you to your Event Espresso Account on my.eventespresso.com


Once logged in, you will see something like the image below:

The navigation menu takes you back to EventEspresso.com, where you can find the support documentation or contact support.


Each of the Account Tabs sections allows you to perform tasks using your account, listed below:

Downloads

All of the downloads available on your account will be listed here. 

Click on the 'files' icon for each individual download to download the .zip file.

Click on the 'docs' icon to be taken to the documentation for that specific download.

License Keys

This section displays all of your license keys on your account. An All Access Pass key is a single key used for Event Espresso Core and All Add-ons. If you don't have an All Access Pass, you will have individual keys for core and add-ons listed here.

Manage Sites allows you to manage the site(s) a key is activated on.

Upgrades allow you to upgrade your license or purchase additional add-ons.

Extend License allows you to extend the expiration of your current license.

View Purchase # shows details of the payment related to this license.

Subscriptions

This shows your current subscriptions, the amount, and status of said subscriptions.


Heads‑up: Your subscription auto‑renewal controls future updates and licenses. Even if it's cancelled, your license remains valid until expiration (typically one year from the purchase date). After that, you’ll no longer receive updates or support.

Upgrades

This section allows you to upgrade your license, for example, adding another site activation or purchasing additional add-ons.

Manage Account

This section allows you to update your account/billing information.

Contact Support

This section allows you to submit a support ticket.

🔐 Where can I find my Event Espresso license key?

You can find your license key by:

  1. Logging in at my.EventEspresso.com.
  2. Navigating to Your Account → License Keys tab.
  3. Copy the license key and paste it into your WordPress dashboard under Event Espresso → License keys.

🧠 Tip: Each plugin or add-on you’ve purchased has its own license key.


🔁 What happens when my license or subscription expires?

  • Your license key will stop working after its expiration date, which means:
    • No more plugin updates
    • No access to premium support
  • Your plugin will still function on your site, but new features or security patches will not apply.

🛡️ For continued security and compatibility, we strongly recommend renewing before expiry.


🌐 Can I use my license key on multiple sites?

By default, each license is available for use on one site; however, you can add additional sites to your license.

You can view or upgrade your license type under Your Account → License Keys → Upgrade License.


🔄 How do I transfer my license key to another website?

  1. Log in to your Event Espresso account.
  2. Go to License Keys and click "Manage Sites" next to the key you want to move.
  3. Click "Remove Site" to free the license.
  4. Add your key to your new site under Event Espresso -> License Keys and click the Activate button.

⚠️ Make sure you’ve deactivated the license in WordPress on the old site before transferring.


🔎 What if I can't find my license key or it's missing?

If your license key isn’t showing:

  • Check the "License Keys" tab under your account
  • Ensure your purchase was completed
  • If you're using a bundled package, check if the key is included in a master license

📥 How do I update my billing info or payment method?

  1. Go to Your Account → Manage Account tab.
  2. Click "Update Payment Info" or "Edit Card".
  3. Save your new details.

This ensures uninterrupted subscription renewals and support access.


🆘 How do I contact support if I need help?

  • Log into your my.eventespresso.com account
  • Click Contact Support

    Include:

    • Your WordPress version
    • Event Espresso version
    • Description of the issue
    • A screenshot or error message if available

We aim to respond within 24 hours (Monday–Friday, business hours).


🔄 Can I upgrade or change my subscription plan?

Yes! You can upgrade to a higher plan or add more sites by:

  • Visiting Your Account → Downloads or License Keys
  • Clicking "Upgrade License" under the product you want to expand
  • Choosing your new license level

🧠 Upgrading early may apply a prorated credit toward your new license.


🧾 Where can I view or print my invoices?

  1. Go to Your Account → Billing
  2. Click "View Invoices"
  3. You can download a PDF receipt for each transaction

This is helpful for accounting or tax purposes.
