Self-Service Registration Cancellation

The Self-Service Registration Cancellation Add-on allows you to provide attendees a way to cancel their own registrations.

Attendees are allowed to register for an event, and then cancel using a secure link and code that gives them access to cancel their registration, and provide a reason, before the ticket sale date.

After the add-on is installed you will see new message shortcodes in the Registration Approved message templates:

You can add the the [REGISTRATION_CANCELLATION] shortcode to the [ATTENDEE_LIST] content box (or other boxes)

When they click the link, they are then asked to provide the confirmation number and submit the cancellation.

Notes:

• For paid tickets, refunds are not automatically processed.
• Attendees can cancel their registration before the ticket they purchased sale ends. After the ticket they purchased selling period ends, they can’t cancel their own registration. This allows you to enforce a cancellation period during the sale period.
